How we got started

At the beginning of 1991, Dragan Manzano’s wife Rosa Maria Manzano was not eating properly, and he was desperate to find a better way for his wife – a way back to healthier food.

Being a trained chef, dietician and nutritionist, he began to experiment with special recipes for particularly healthy and nutritional foods from different cultures around the world in order to develop a new diet for his wife.

After years of research and development, he managed to devise a nutritional supplement system on the basis of his “cooking experiments and meal formulas”. And it was with the idea of making these unusual and innovative products available for everyone that the Manzanos founded Nova Nutria.
